Hello,
If you’ve been in Grapes and Tastes lately you might have noticed that the ice bucket we use for corks after we open a bottle for tasting has gotten full. This is good news for you.
Why?
Because we decided to have a contest. Guess the correct number of corks in the ice bucket and win a bottle of our best bubbles – Charles de Fere French Sparkling Wine!
Just email your guess – one per email address – and if you are correct, you will win! Or, stop in at Grapes and Tastes and look over the bucket of corks and tell us your guess then. You can see the bucket yourself. (But you can’t take the corks out and count them!)
We don’t even know how many corks are in there, and we won’t know until we count them on Tuesday, September 7th. So, you have until the 7th to make your guess.
After the 7th, watch for our news about our daily Winey Hour and a couple of back-to-school events coming up in September.

With the summer heading into the final stretch here, we thought we’d run an in-house special to remind everyone that the beat goes on at Grapes and Tastes. Funds raised at this event assist the Booster Club’s continued support of all athletic activities at Cedarburg High School. Just a quick note this week to mention that Grapes and Tastes will have a wine booth at the Ozaukee County Fair in Cedarburg this week and weekend. The Oz County Fair is one of the few remaining fairs in the Midwest that are still free, so be sure to check it out. For more info go here: www.ozaukeecountyfair.com
